The beneficial effect of Mesopotamian Fallow genetics in combination with the pure European Fallow subspecies is indisputable. All the attributes of hybrid vigor are marvelously displayed; including rapid growth rates, larger body size, and often spectacular antler development.

The effect of pure Mesopotamian sires over my special group of imported pure European Fallow does has shocked even a true believer like me. The F1 offspring include bucks exceeding 100 pounds at six months, 350 pounds at three years, and does weighing more than 150 pounds at four years. I don't call them mesos; these deserve the special appellation, Shareef Persians™.
